Tonya joined Castillo Harper in 2018 as the family law and administrative law paralegal. She has over seven years’ experience exclusively in family law. She works primarily with Brandi H. Harper and provides support to the other members of the firm. In 2004, she graduated from Platt college where she received her Associates degree in paralegal studies. Since her graduation, she has worked as a paralegal, covering many areas of law with her primary focus and experience being in family law. Tonya previously was employed with other family law firms in the Inland Empire and has acquired a great deal of experience and training.

Tonya provides detailed support to the attorneys and her clients. From complex litigation cases to simple uncontested divorces, she is involved from beginning to end. She assists clients by providing regular contact and updates, managing the discovery process, maintaining the case calendar and deadlines, drafting pleadings and letters. She also maintains all document production and the client case file.

Family law clients are often faced with a variety of emotional situations. Tonya presents a calm, helpful and supportive demeanor as she handles their immediate needs, while explaining procedures.
